Hi there, I'm Autumn!

Former kindergarten teacher turned career coach now navigating the corporate world and helping other educators do the same.

I spent four years in early childhood education, certified PreK–4, and thought I’d be teaching for life. But after 2020, the burnout hit hard. I wanted more flexibility, better pay, and a job that respected both my time and my skills.

  • Cookie-cutter advice
  • Generic resume fluff
  • Going it alone
  • Guilt-tripping your way through change

What I’m not about:

  • Careers should fit your life, not consume it
  • You deserve to be paid well for the skills you already have
  • Burnout isn’t a personality trait—it’s a signal
  • Done > perfect (especially for teachers)

What I believe:

I landed a remote role I love, found peace I didn’t know was possible, and discovered a new mission of helping other teachers do the same.

Now, as a certified career coach, I help educators find roles that fit their lives and their strengths. I believe the skills you’ve built in the classroom are wildly transferable, and you don’t need to start from scratch to make a meaningful change.

My approach is part strategy, part cheerleader, part "let’s fix that resume together on a Tuesday afternoon." I’m here for the clarity and the confidence-building.

Spoiler: they will.

So I made the leap, and I figured it out the hard way. I spent nights googling “jobs for teachers,” trying to decode job boards, rewriting my resume in “corporate speak,” and wondering if anyone would hire someone “just” from the classroom.
